Customs officers at Hong Kong International Airport recovered more than half of a kilogramme of cocaine from a Nigerian woman who allegedly hid the drug in her body, South China Morning reports. The 37-year-old arrived in the city on a flight from Lagos via Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Customs officers intercepted the suspect, who claimed to be a businesswoman and was said to be acting suspiciously, shortly after her arrival on Thursday. She was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Yau Ma Tei for a check-up and confirmed to have foreign objects in her body. Officers first recovered 215 grams of cocaine contained in condoms and plastic bags found in her vagina. She later discharged 24 capsules of cocaine, each weighing 14 grams, from her body. The haul, weighing 550 grams in total, was estimated to be worth HK$522,000 (US$66,900). The authorities said the woman, who was detained for inquiries, may discharge more drugs. Sydney Paige Monfries, 22, from Portland, Oregon, suffered fatal injuries following the horror plunge at Fordham University campus in New York, weeks before graduation. The New York Police Department said Sydney went to the campus clock tower with her friends at around 3am on Sunday to get a view of the skyline. A court is hearing a case of a young couple who are alleged to have killed their two months-old son following an argument about not having sex, due to their newborn child. Metro reports that, Luke Morgan, 26, and Emma Cole, 22, allegedly killed their son, Tyler Morgan, following an argument about money and their sex life inside their flat in Burntwood, Staffs in 2014. During the hearing, their neighbours recounted that Morgan got angry because he wanted to have sex with Cole but could not because their baby was still awake. The couple both deny murder, manslaughter, causing or allowing Tyler’s death, and child cruelty. The Los Angeles Police Department has identified a suspect in the shooting death of rapper Nipsey Hussle. Eric Holder, 29, is wanted for homicide, the LAPD announced early on Tuesday. Holder walked up to Hussle and two other men Sunday as they stood outside a business in a strip mall on West Slauson Boulevard, police said in a statement. He fired multiple times at them and then ran to a nearby alley where a vehicle — “driven by an unidentified female” — was waiting for him, police said. Holder entered from the passenger side and the vehicle fled, authorities said. Hussle died in the shooting and the two other men were injured and transported to the hospital.
